Politically correct Connecticut city cancels Halloween

And so it comes to this.

The PC police are apparently in full riot gear in Milford, Connecticut. The school district there has ended the annual Halloween parade in the elementary schools. Children are no longer allowed to wear their costumes to school. This apparently due to fear that some children can't or won't participate. In a letter sent home to parents the decision “arose out of numerous incidents of children being excluded from activities due to religion, cultural beliefs, etc.”

So in deference to other people's beliefs and traditions we in America have to give up our own? Someone started a Change.org petition calling for reinstatement of the annual tradition and already hundreds of parents have signed. You can read more about this stupid decision to destroy Halloween here.
