Some random thoughts on seeing Paul and Ringo perform together last night on the Grammys - who would have thought that 50 years later, Paul and Ringo would still steal the show? The two former Beatles performed together for the first time since Radio City in 2009

Why were they given the Lifetme Achievement Award on Saturday, instead of Sunday when the world was watching? I would have loved to hear what they would have said while accepting it.

Seeing Ringo perform “Photograph” made me think of George Harrison who wrote the song. I still think of George when I hear the opening of Photograph, "Everytime I see your face it reminds me of the places we used to go, but all I've got is a photograph and I realize you're not coming back anymore."

Last but not least, how much does Sean look like his father? How much does it rip you apart that he wasn't there to watch it? That’s one reaction we’ll never get to hear.

Paul and Ringo will appear again on Feb 9th for the Grammy Salute to the Beatles which will air on CBS at the exact time they performed on the network 50 years ago on the Ed Sullivan show. This time the songs they performed that night will be sung by Eurythmics, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Maroon 5, John Mayer, and Keith Urban.

If this is an attempt to turn this generation onto their sound, it’s already been done by their parents. Who would have thought 50 years ago, that we’d still see Beatles front and center. I wouldn’t be surprised if we still saw it 50 years from now.
