Winfrey, friend Gayle King and beau Stedman Graham walked the boardwalk on Friday night. @Gayle King tweeted there were two reasons she and Winfrey were in New Jersey. "The girls have never seen the boardwalk in wildwood .. NEWJERSEY STRONG They don't have this in South Africa."

KYW TV reports the trio went to Morey's Pier and were given a police escort off the boardwalk for which King was appreciative.

Winfrey on Saturday delivered an endorsement of Cory Booker in the special Senate election at the Whitesboro reunion. “I believe in Cory Booker. When he is elected to the United States Senate on Oct. 16, he will be only the fourth African American to hold that position since Reconstruction,” Winfrey said according to the Press of Atlantic City. She also revealed that her first political contribution was to Booker's mayoral run because of his "it factor."

Steadman is from Whitesboro.
