We first met Nick Santonastasso when he was 12 years old and won a statewide art contest. Just last month, we caught up with him regarding his online prank videos on the popular Vine website. In them, Santonastasso scared unsuspecting customers in a store by coming out of nowhere while they were holiday shopping.

Fox International, which distributes "The Walking Dead" on their network in foreign markets, was holding a press junket in Tokyo and invited the Santonastasso family to fly out. It was all for a big, elaborate prank captured on video.

If you watch the show, then you know crossbow-carrying tough guy Daryl, played by Norman Reedus, isn't afraid of anything. But 17-year-old Nick changed that.

"This was by far the coolest thing I've ever done," Santonastasso said. "Hanging with the two lead actors on the show was great. We even had dinner, and the makeup for the prank was done by the head makeup designer from the series."

Nick, who was born with only one arm and no legs, thanks all of his fans for starting a petition to get him on the show. He said, however, that he was satisfied with his trip to Japan.

"This in fact is better than being on the show, because in my opinion they came on my show," Santonastasso said. "My platform is social media."

So far, the video has been viewed nearly four million times, and counting.
