NJ man who served pot-laced brownies to family could face charges
An Ocean County man who brought brownies baked with marijuana to a family outing in Pennsylvania will likely face charges.
Police say that the family knew the brownies had THC oil, a concentrated form of marijuana's intoxicant but wanted to try them and wound up getting sick.
Mazurek's parents, Steven R. and Gena Mazurek and Richard and Sandra Wood of Howell were among those in the group who wound up in the emergency room, but were released, according to police.
There were other people in the group that did not eat the laced brownies.
Police are awaiting toxicology results to determine exactly what was consumed before filing charges.
