Authorities say an East Rutherford man had more than 100 images of child porn on his computer when he was arrested Friday.

Diego Avila is facing several charges after a search warrant was executed at his East Rutherford home, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office. It said the search and arrest came about as a result of an investigation by its computer crimes unit.

"The investigation revealed that Diego Avila was using the internet to acquire images and videos depicting child pornography," the prosecutor's office said. "In this case, the child pornography contained over 100 images and/or videos of pre-pubescent children engaged in sexual acts.

Avila was charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child for the alleged possession of the videos and images before being issued a summons and released on his own recognizance, authorities said.
