PENNS GROVE - Camden County authorities are continuing the search for a man who shot a 24-year-old father multiple times before fleeing in the victim's vehicle with a 1-year-old still in the backseat.

Police say the shooting took place Saturday at about 4:10 p.m. in front of a Penns Grove cemetery on South Broad Street, according to NJ Advance Media. Authorities believe there was some type of confrontation after which the victim was shot multiple times, the story states. The victim was found leaning against the cemetery fence, according to police. He was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead, police say. His identity has not yet been released.

Following the shooting, the suspect fled in the victim's vehicle. He drove to Philadelphia with the victim's 1-year-old child in the backseat, according to NJ Advance Media. Police say the child was uninjured and the shooter, who abandoned the car, remains at large.
