New Jersey officials are reviewing numerous complaints from members of a travel club who say the business has closed its office and stopped returning phone calls.

The state Division of Consumer Affairs has received more than two dozen complaints from people who had purchased memberships from Club ABC Tours of Bloomfield.

A DCA spokesman wouldn't confirm online reports that Club ABC had closed down or that the agency was investigating the company.

A phone message left at the company's office Thursday wasn't returned, and Club ABC Tours' website wasn't working.

The Better Business Bureau of New Jersey says on its website that travelers whose tours have been canceled should check with their credit card company about possible refunds.
