Six days from today, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will present his Fiscal Year 2012-13 State Budget. The spending plan impacts every state resident, but don’t expect to get a preview from Christie about how your tax dollars will be spent.

Asked today about his budget message, Christie said, “I’ll be ready on Tuesday. Don’t you worry……..We’ll have it all ready and ready to go and we’ll present to you, but what this Administration doesn’t do is we don’t announce what we’re going to do until the Governor announces it.”

While the Governor is tight-lipped about his spending plan, he was more than willing to answer questions about any concerns Democrats might have about pending budget message. He says, “I’m the only person who hasn’t blown out this budget in the last decade in either party so, if they can be assured that anybody’s going to be fiscally responsible, they’re looking at him and I’ve made the tough decisions I’ve had to make to do that. People can judge me by my record and my record so far is pretty good.”
