
Nearly 19,000 lose power in Jersey City, Bayonne
BAYONNE — Nearly 19,000 customers lost power in Bayonne and Jersey City on Monday morning.
PSE&G in a statement said two transformers at its Bayonne switching station went out of service around 9:23 a.m. Video from CBS New York's helicopter showed traffic lights working on Bayonne streets.
According to the company, power was restored shortly after 11 a.m.
