Man charged with killing ex-wife in Woodbridge

WOODBRIDGE (AP) — Authorities have charged a man with killing his ex-wife in the Woodbridge home they shared.

Bail is set at $750,000 for 42-year-old Vito Nigro, who is in stable condition at a hospital.

An autopsy determined 32-year-old Giorgina Nigro died from blunt force and sharp force trauma. She was found dead in the home the two shared in the Colonia section of the township on Wednesday.

Her mother tells MyCentralJersey.com the two were scheduled to see a doctor to discuss the death of their infant son in January.
