There's no denying New Jersey talent is strong this season on two hit TV shows. Whether you're a devout fan of reality competitions or just a casual observer- let's bask in the glow of Wé McDonald and Ali Caldwell slaying it on NBC's 'The Voice.' Plus, Jersey Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez could follow up those medals with a mirrorball trophy on ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars.'

It's no shock that Paterson's own McDonald has made it into the Top 20 on season 11 of 'The Voice'. Her latest performance- a rendition of a Mary J. Blige song- quickly became a trending video online:

This young singer floored the celebrity judges (and the rest of us) with her Blind Audition. She's now made it through the Battle and Knockout rounds. And, it looks like she's staying grounded under pressure- in this sweet pic of Wé, her dad and coach Alicia Keys:

Woodbridge native Ali Caldwell also has advanced on The Voice to the live playoffs, with Miley Cyrus' team. Her Sade cover of 'No Ordinary Love' was extraordinary:

Ali was born and raised in Middlesex County, where she flexed her musical talents early on as she's told fans:

Fellow Middlesex County sweetheart Laurie Hernandez has been in the spotlight ever since her gold medal summer in Rio. Now competing on ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars', the Old Bridge teen is hanging tough with her pro partner, Val.

Since Laurie is home-schooled amid her intense gymnastics training- she even got her first-ever taste of Prom, in their routine for Eras Night:

It's refreshing to see this Jersey Girls as a positive role model for my own daughters and young kids far beyond the Garden State.

I've said it earlier this season, but it's nice to see genuine Jersey talent being celebrated on reality shows. As both competitions enter 'crunch time'- know that your home state is rooting for you!
