The extended hunting season for bears in New Jersey is underway, and from now until October 12th, with a permit, you can legally hunt bears with a bow and arrow. That seems a little dated, no?

I think the hunter hitting a giant black bear with a bow & arrow puts the hunter at danger. If a bear gets a bow stuck in him, I doubt he's going to feel it. Luckily for us, a muzzleloader can be used from October 13th until the 15th.
