Technology's impact on relationships — Has it affected your family?

With everyone on Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook, has dating changed? If  you dated then and are dating now, what do you love now or miss from “then?”

Love texting?  Hate landlines?  Perhaps you email or text your spouse from a room away like Megan or find some personal information too much for Facebook posts like Annette?

Studies reported on by Psychology Today analyzed whether social media can help or hurt relationships, and the researchers found that too much of a good thing can cause relationship dissatisfaction.

Do social media platforms and technology create convenience or laziness? Do you live by some sort of rule in your family to make sure texting at the dinner table doesn't interrupt time spent together?  Tell us what you do and we might talk about it in a future podcast.

Negative misconceptions about New Jersey - What's the one you hate the most?

New Jersey, the Garden State, gets a bad rap ... A LOT!   Is the state only filled with “guidettes” and bad accents?  Why does New Jersey get such a bad rep from those that don't live there?

A poll conducted in 2012 by Public Policy Polling found that 32 percent of Americans had an unfavorable view of New Jersey, with only 25 percent saying they had a favorable view. Ouch! New Jersey's favorable view was a whopping 29 points below Hawaii, which was the state Americans viewed as the most favorable.

What do you think the biggest misconception is about New Jersey? If you could clear up one thing, what would it be?

Join us for next week's podcast when we're joined by NJ 101.5 news anchor and producer Patrick Lavery to discuss destination weddings, managing money as a couple and our favorite TV characters!

Share your thoughts on all of them below, on Twitter, on Facebook or at forever39@nj1015.com.
