Help Donate Towards the Moving of John Basilone’s Widow’s Resting Place

Jim was speaking with Raritan Borough Mayor Jo-Ann Liptak this morning (1/10) regarding a movement that is under by a group of Marines that want to assist the memory of a New Jersey hero.

here is a group of Marines in Iowa who have taken on the task of moving Lena Riggi Basilone (John’s widow) from her resting place in Riverside, California to Arlington to be re-interred with John. They need to raise about $3,000 to do this and want it completed by 19 February 2013 the anniversary of John’s death on Iwo Jima.
