"There's still a little time to get a taste of New Jersey before the end of the summer."

The Governor used today to remind New Jerseyans of the importance of the shore economy, and restate his commitment to protect the shore, its beaches and businesses.

In 2010, the shore in Atlantic, Cape May, Monmouth and Ocean Counties represented 193,000 private sector jobs and over $6 billion in wages and salaries.

Following Christie's press conference, while greeting locals and tourists, he visited a boardwalk arcade and an italian ice stand.
