NJ Advance Media received a copy of the invitation to the Aug. 4 event and reports  that "founding members" are granted the opportunity to take a photo with the presidential hopeful for $2,700.

Christie's New Jersey financing co-chair, Jon Hanson, says the event is designed to raise funds for the governor but will serve more as a thank you to Garden State donors who have already pledged funds.

Hanson declined to say how much money Christie's campaign has raised so far, but says the fundraising has been "going quite well."

Hanson says fundraising for the 2016 election is ongoing and there is no specific goal for the governor's event.
