A Maple Shade home was partially knocked off its foundation after it was hit by a truck on Saturday morning.

Police said a flatbed truck carrying a load of steel hit the house on Stiles Avenue just before 6 a.m. The truck was exiting from northbound Route 73 when it was hit by a car going through a yellow light, police said. The truck driver told police he couldn't stop in time because of weight of the steel.

Both drivers were hospitalized for minor back and neck injuries, according to police. There was one person in the house at the time of the crash who was not injured, police said.

Police did not release the identities of anyone involved with the incident; no charges have been filed.
