Fire burns Aberdeen apartment building
A two-alarm fire burned through the middle of a building at an apartment complex in Aberdeen on Friday morning.
The fire broke out just before 8 a.m. at the Ken Gardens Apartments according to the Asbury Park Press, affecting 10-12 units in the "C" building.
The fire appears to have been confined to one building with flames coming through the roof and heavy smoke. One resident jumped from their balcony to escape the fire.
News 12 New Jersey reports fire departments from several surrounding communities assisted in putting out the fire.
