Nancy Armienti was an employee of Atlantic County Concrete and Material Co. in 2008 when, authorities say, she began making cash withdrawals from the company and ordering items from the QVC shopping network.

The 59-year-old Elmer resident then created false business expense records to cover her tracks.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says Armienti failed to file a federal tax return and didn't pay taxes on income of more than $682,000 for 2008.

Under terms of her plea Thursday in federal court in Camden, Armienti faces a prison term up to five years and a fine of $250,000 or twice the loss caused by the offense. Her sentencing is scheduled for April 23.
