Do You Have a Favorite New Jersey-Esque Song [VIDEO]

Lord knows there are tons of songs out there that refer to The Garden State and everyone has their favorite. Well here's my two favorites and I guarantee you've never heard them before.

When you think of a New Jersey based song, what first comes to mind. Bruce, Bon Jovi, George Clinton, Frank Sinatra or maybe even The Fugees. I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that these two songs would never enter your mind when thinking of New Jersey in music.

First is Chuck Berry, an extremely talented songwriter and musician. When I first heard this song I was so excited that Jersey got a mention from this iconic figure in rhythm and blues.

Second on my list goes to Sly and the Family Stone. I'm a huge fan of Funkadelic and all of that style of music. So to hear a song titled after a town in Jersey, simply blew my mind.
