City of Angels founder: ‘We help people get help’ with addiction (Listen)

Thousands of people including Joe Walsh, Cheryl Crowe and The Fray gathered in Washington DC Sunday for the Unite Against Addiction Rally Sunday.  Among the people from New Jersey that attended the rally was Kevin Meara, founder of City Of Angels.

Meara called my show to discuss the fight against drug addiction in New Jersey. Meara, a former councilman and mayor of Hamilton Township, also spoke about losing his own son to the battle. Meara also talked about the emotional conversation he had with former Boston Celtics player, Chris Herren about Herren's addiction.
