Can anyone really be surprised that the Governor of New Jersey would drop the F Bomb? That's what Governor Christie did when he responded to Monmouth County Freeholder John Curly calling him a “fat f***,” which he later apologized for.

Personally, I have no problem with any of it. In fact I think Governor Christie's response was totally Jersey. You insult us, we take it up a notch. You call the governor a "fat f***” he responds with "who the f***do you think you are calling me a fat f***?" Stark testified Christie said. "I'm the f***ing governor of this state."

As far as I'm concerned, Christie responded in kind. Then the Governor took it up a notch when he forced him to be at an event in Keansburg or  he would "'f***ing destroy [Curly]' with robo calls to tell Republicans not to vote for him," Stark testified. Curly was seeking reelection in 2012.

When you have the power, you need to use it. When someone calls you out, you need to respond. Perhaps if Curly would have gone to the governor with his feelings instead of calling him a "fat f***" behind his back none of this would have happened. Some of the best advice I was ever given was “if you're gonna bitch, bitch to someone who can do something about it”

Now since you're probably from Jersey, you can't possibly be offended by this kind of language, nor can you believe that politicians don't talk like this. When it comes to political correctness, politicians are the farthest thing from it.
