On Wednesday, Gov. Chris Christie made his first public appearance outside of the state house since ending his presidential race.

Christie attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony at a Newark school, but left without taking questions from reporters.

The Governor has maintained a low-profile since leaving the campaign trail.

His only other public event was the budget address.

It remains to be seen if he will work with Democrats on several issues including pension funding.
