Camden Teen Faces Attempted Murder Charge

Prosecutors say a Camden teenager faces attempted murder charges in the street shooting of another city teen last week.

The 15-year-old suspect also faces aggravated assault and robbery charges and several weapons offenses stemming from the July 17 shooting. Authorities say the 15-year-old male victim was shot multiple times when the suspect tried to rob him in the 800 block of Front Street in Camden.

Prosecutors say the suspect was already being held at the county's youth detention center on an unrelated charge. But they did not disclose the teen's name or gender.
