If there was an overarching theme to Wednesday's edition of Ask the Governor ... it's hard to say what it was.

Topics bounced all over the place. Gov. Chris Christie doesn't like smoking — but he likes the state butting in and telling towns they have to ban it on their beaches less.

He said his key role heading up Donald Trump's presidential transition team wouldn't take him away from New Jersey much, because he can depend on a quality team.

And the governor said a recently brokered deal to save Atlantic City gives him all the power he needs to get the job done — if it holds.

But perhaps the most important question before the governor: Is it Taylor Ham, or Pork Roll. He didn't hesitate for a moment on that one.

Ask the Governor takes place approximately once a month. Each month, tweet your questions to @NJ1015 using the hashtag #askgov.
