Stafford police say 24-year-old township resident Eric Johnston initially threw things at his father and threatened to kill him while they were at the father's home Thursday night. Johnston allegedly threatened his father again after police arrived, telling him he would burn down the home if his father got a restraining order.

After Johnston's father got the order, Johnston allegedly said police would have to remove him. Authorities say Johnston then physically resisted officers and bit one of them on the right wrist.

Johnston was charged with aggravated assault on police, resisting arrest and making terroristic threats.

A telephone number for him could not be located Sunday.
