Attorney: Teen In Md. School Shooting Remorseful
An attorney for the teenager charged with wounding a fellow student at his Maryland high school says his client has expressed remorse and had been on a suicide watch when he was being treated at a psychiatric hospital.
Attorney George Psoras made the comments Thursday while requesting that a bail review hearing for 15-year-old Robert Gladden Jr., be delayed until he can obtain the teen's mental health assessment.

The Perry Hall High School sophomore has been released from the hospital and transferred to a county detention center. He appeared shackled at the hearing and did not speak. He wore a black T-shirt with the words "Rock Republic" on the back.
Attorney Clarke Ahler said after the hearing that Gladden would like to meet with the victim to express remorse for the Aug. 27 shooting.
