Did Joe Giudice risk jail a day before Teresa got out? (He says no)
Despite reports in a British newspaper that "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Joe Giudice was seen driving a vehicle, in violation of a judge's order, the Montville man's attorney denies the claims.
The Daily Mail published photos of a person they say is the "Real Housewives" star at the wheel of his Ford truck a day before his wife Teresa Giudice is set to return from federal prison.
"Joe has told me that one thousand percent he was not behind the wheel of a car and has not been since his license was suspended, number one," Giudice's attorney James Leonard told NJ Advance Media. "Number two, Joe has seen those photographers out there for two days now. The last thing he's going to do is commit any violations in front of cameras."
In April, Joe Giudice was sentenced by Passaic County Superior Court Judge Adam E. Jacobs for possession of a fraudulent driver's license, which carries a sentence of up to 10 years in prison. He was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison on fraud charges and under a plea deal, the judge suspended his license for two years in lieu of numerous motor vehicle violations and suspensions.
