Rivera's remains were found last December. A medical examiner determined that he died of "unspecified homicidal violence."

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that court records state Brown-Bunch told detectives that about $2,000 in drugs went missing from a Camden-based drug operation. Brown-Bunch said he attacked Rivera after he admitted taking the drugs.

A witness told investigators that Brown-Bunch "hacked" Rivera with a sharp instrument and had his pit bull bite Rivera.
