
Amtrak service resumes following fatal pedestrian accident
Amtrak and SEPTA service between Trenton and Philadelphia has resumed following a fatal accident on the rails in Bucks County.
Amtrak
NBC 10 reports a pedestrian was struck and killed at the Croydon Station in Bristol, Pennsylvania. All Amtrak and SEPTA service was suspended for an investigation.
NJ Transit service was not affected.
The accident happened around 1:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon when a northbound Metroliner hit the victim, according to CBS Philadelphia.
