$245 Million Up for Grabs in Tonight’s Powerball Jackpot! Where Do You Play?

In this past Saturday's Powerball drawing, no one matched all the winning numbers, so that would make the cash value for tonight’s drawing at $146.2 million. That, my friend, is as they say in my old neck of the woods, a lot of scarole!

For instance, if you live in the Linwood zip code of 08221, they’ve posted just over 117 million dollars in winnings on total sales of just over 5 million dollars for a return on investment of just over 2%. Not bad!

The absolute bottom of the heap is Deerfield (08313) with no winnings on just over 2 million dollars in total sales.

For my own zip code, I found there to be winnings of $4,053,543 with 471 winners of over a thousand dollars; after $44,464,575 was spent; giving us a return on investment of just over -90%.

Sounds like the kind of return you might get if Jon Corzine were your broker!
