A Pennsville Memorial High School coach has resigned after being found with an open container of alcohol as he sat in his car with students.

NJ Advance Media reported Kenneth Emmons, 23, the school's head wrestling coach and assistant baseball coach, was stopped on May 9 around 3 a.m. with a can of Coors Light in his hand, an unopened case in the back and two teenagers in the car with him.

One of the teens was behind the wheel but neither were cited, according to the news website.
