There is a new/old buzz word that seems to be making it’s way across New Jersey as well as the tri-state area. That word is “banned”. More and more New Jersey towns want to ban outdoor smoking, which is only fitting since they’ve already banned indoor smoking.

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg would like to ban large sugary soft drinks, the first step in the fight against obesity. The next step will be what we drink them with. Governor Christie would like to lift the ban on sports betting, which would be perfect timing as you fill out your brackets

It almost seems like some people feel we have too much freedom and would like to give some back. Please don’t let us make our own decisions on whether we should smoke, or how much soda we should drink, or how fat we want to get, we can’t be trusted on our own, we need the government to do it for us. So while we’re at it, what would you like to see “banned” in New Jersey? Here are a few that I’ve come up with in no particular order, Please feel free to add you own in the comment section below.
