Touching story of my young neighbor with a rare cancer (Opinion)
Michael K. Brown grew up down the street from where I live now. He is the same age as my oldest son. In June he was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer that usually forms in children and not adults. His mom has taken an apartment in NYC to be close to him at Mt. Saini Hospital. His family has gone through great anguish as you can imagine and at great expense. ABC 7 in New York featured him in a story recently about how music can ease the suffering of hospital patients.
If you count yourself fortunate as many of us do and would like to help a New Jersey family get through a really tough time, here's where you can pitch in. Michael and his family have been through a lot and anything you can do would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!
