‘This Time I’m In It For Love’ by Player — Doyle’s ‘Not-So-Top-10′ List

Player scored a huge hit straight out of the gate. The LA based band saw their first single release go all the way to #1 in 1978. 'Baby Come Back' was the most popular song in the US for three weeks! Their second release also hit the top ten in 1978, and it’s the song I asked Big Joe to play: 'This Time I’m In It For Love.' Their follow up to their follow up, 'Prisoner of Your Love' made it to #27, which is the last time they hit the Top 30.
