There are common sense answers to fixing health care in NJ
Clearly politics are at play on both sides of the aisle these days. I'll be joined by NJ Congressman Tom MacArthur who's likely to support the GOP repeal and replace plan for Obamacare.
Why won't anyone in NJ address the fact that the budget hole made by higher Medicaid costs, can be solved if we'd look at common sense proposals like renegotiating state health benefits? Or not pursuing a light rail in the counties of the political elite? Or maybe eliminate the absurd 1/8th of a penny sales tax reduction?
Leading politicians would rather play in sound bites instead of solving problems.
Congressman Tom MacArthur joined us to explain why he is in favor of the reform. Facts matter when making decisions and the fact is is that the congressman spent a lot of time with the president, vice-president and other lawmakers to ensure that the healthcare plan does not leave people who are now covered under Obamacare, high and dry without options.
