Domestic Violence Awareness Month in 2020 also marks one year since a young Freehold Township woman was last seen by her family, and was presumably killed by her ex-boyfriend.
The slain woman's father will announce the creation of a nonprofit foundation that he hopes will keep his daughter's memory alive and bring hope to victims of violence.
