Even though the driver has not been accused of wrongdoing by authorities, the owners of the dump truck involved in the fatal crash of a school bus on Route 80 on May 17 are being hit with a lawsuit.
The two people killed in a Route 80 collision between a school bus and a dump truck that tore the bus apart were a Paramus student and teacher, Gov. Phil Murphy said.
A Jeep overturned in the westbound lanes near Exit 39, for Route 46, around 6:10 a.m., killing a 21-year-old Midland Park man, according to State Police.
