Eric Katz, a 30-year-old paraplegic, Toms River, NJ native, who has devoted his life to building and creating artificial limbs for amputees, lost his home and everything he owned during Hurricane Sandy.

The spirit of helping others is not dead in this country, many have found ways to help those affected to raise funds for Hurricane Sandy Relief. I was recently contacted by a group from Seaside, Oregon and found out how they are planning to help their 'sister city' from across the country.

The charity launched by Governor Chris Christie and his wife to help victims of Hurricane Sandy has raised $18.2 million in its first 24 days.

Just as quickly as donations are coming in for victims of Superstorm Sandy, more items are still needed, especially along the Jersey shore - as residents come home to find nothing.

Ray The Prize Guy and myself visited Hoboken today and visited with Mayor Dawn Zimmer and saw how a volunteer group from St. Louis is helping to Restore New Jersey.

Donations are rolling into New York and New Jersey after Superstorm Sandy, but some relief experts say the things being given are not always what's needed.

The response today with people who want to donate time and money to the relief efforts has been incredible.
