The Port Authority has announced a major relocation at Newark Liberty International Airport, taking effect Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

Street closures, crowded trains and traffic gridlock are expected in the hours leading to the MTV VMAs on Monday.

AirTrain service is resuming at Newark Liberty International Airport in time for the July Fourth holiday weekend.

If you are heading to Newark Liberty International Airport in the coming weeks, and you use the AirTrain service, you may want to give yourself some extra time. Starting Thursday, AirTrain Newark will be suspended for about 75 days for critical repair work.

Repair work will suspend AirTrain Newark service for approximately 75 days beginning May 1.

A mock rescue exercise is scheduled to take place Saturday morning at Newark Liberty International Airport.
