HOPEWELL — Several questions remain about a  woman was found dead inside a Mercer County home on Tuesdasy night.

Casey DeBlasio, spokeswoman for the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office, said the owner of a home on Washington Crossing-Pennington Road in Hopewell called police around 8:30 p.m. who found a dead woman in the house upon their arrival.

Washington Crossing-Pennington Road runs through woods and forest from Route 29 at Washington Crossing Stare Park and ends just east of Route 31 in Pennington.

There was no forced entry into the home, according to DeBlasio, who said this was an isolated incident.

DeBlasio did not disclose the identity of anyone involved with the incident or their relationship. An autopsy was scheduled on the woman on Wednesday afternoon.

Police responded to the scene around 10 p.m., along with the Mercer County Homicide Task Force, according to NJ.com.
