2 lines of thunderstorms rolled across New Jersey Sunday night dropping temperatures, heavy rain and tree limbs onto power lines.

The second line of storms plunged 4000 Monmouth County customers into the dark as of 11:15PM on Sunday night with Marlboro and Howell the hardest hit according to to JCP+L's outage map.

Camden County had a number of outages with power out in Hopewell, Cherry Hill, Camden, Collingswood  and Haddon for PSE+G customers on their outage map.

There were also scattered outages in the Atlantic City Electric service area.

The afternoon storms also slowed already heavy traffic on the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpikes as many beachgoers cut short their stay.
