Smoke from Camden Steel Yard fire visible at Eagles game

CAMDEN — Firefighters are battling a blaze at the Camden Steel Yard that could be seen from Philadelphia by fans attending the Eagles game at Lincoln Financial Field Sunday afternoon.

According to 6ABC news, the fire broke out sometime around 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Columns of heavy, black smoke could be seen from the football stadium and crews worked to bring the blaze under control.

So far, the story states, no injuries have been reported. The exact cause of the fire is not yet known.
