Routes 28, 202, 206 all closed at Somerville Circle for fallen wires

RARITAN BOROUGH — The Somerville Circle was closed on Sunday morning for fallen power lines.

Routes 28, 202 and 206 were all shut down approaching the circle, and PSE&G was making repairs Sunday.

A dispatcher for Raritan Borugh Police said electrical wires fell in the parking lot of the Guitar Center and onto Route 28.

"We're not sure if a truck pulled it down. No one called anything in," the dispatcher said.

It's not known how long the closure will last.
