New Jersey legislative Democrats have released a very funny press release regarding property taxes in New Jersey.

Property tax hike since Gov. Christie took office:

2009 average property tax with rebates/credits included: $6,244

2011 average property tax with rebates/credits included: $7,519 (Source: njspotlight.com)

That’s a 20 percent property tax increase under Gov. Christie.

Meanwhile, thanks to the governor’s vetoes millionaires are enjoying $40,000 annual tax breaks.
