NJ Transit Trains Back on Schedule

New Jersey Transit trains are back on schedule after power supply problems caused delays.Amtrak reported a low-voltage condition of the Northeast Corridor between Philadelphia and New York at 8:55 a.m. Tuesday.

NJ Transit had to suspend Northeast Corridor train and North Jersey Coast Line service between Long Branch and New York.

The trains resumed service, but operated up to 60 minutes behind schedule until just before noon.

Midtown Direct trains, which were operating in and out of Hoboken to alleviate congestion, resumed their schedules.

Buses honored NJ Transit rail tickets during the delays.
