Person of Interest Wanted in Synagogue Firebombing
Authorities are trying to identify a man wanted for questioning in the firebombing of a New Jersey synagogue.
Video and photos show the man leaving a store wearing a red-orange and black warm-up suit and carrying a camouflage backpack. He apparently rode away on a bicycle.
Police said several Molotov cocktails and other incendiary devices were thrown at Temple Beth El in Rutherford on Jan. 11, igniting a fire in the second-floor bedroom of the rabbi's residence. No one was injured.
It was the fourth bias incident aimed at a Jewish institution in Bergen County in a month.
