Pedestrian Killed By Amtrak Train

All service has been restored for Amtrak trains running between Philadelphia and Trenton after a person was
struck and killed Tuesday morning.

Local commuter trains were also delayed after a person was hit by a northbound Amtrak train around 6:30 a.m. in Philadelphia's Holmesburg neighborhood.

No information was immediately available on the person who was struck.

SEPTA reported delays of at least an hour. Amtrak told passengers to expect residual delays.
