The transit agency says PATH will cross-honor the tickets from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday due to elevated temperatures at New York's Penn Station.

Amtrak says the air conditioning at the station is working but not as effectively as they would like.

NJ Transit spokesman John Durso Jr. says commuters can take PATH trains from 33rd Street to Hoboken or Newark.

Temperatures reached the 90s in the New York area Tuesday.
